With a new e-scooter concept, Audi is responding to the urban trend towards multi-modal mobility. The Audi e-tronScooter, combining the advantages of the electric scooter and the skateboard, is designed for sporty riders. To be transported by car, bus or train, the twelve-kilogram (26-pound) e-scooter can be folded up and conveniently stored in the back of the car, or if preferred pulled like a trolley. Above all, the Audi e-tron Scooter stands out thanks to its handling, which is like surfing waves. The rider has one hand free, and so is able to look around and give hand signals. Production and sales are planned for late 2020.

The fourth Audi Summer Tour will take FC Bayern München back to the United States: During its trip to Los Angeles, Houston and Kansas City, the 2019 German League and Cup title winning team will meet with Arsenal London and Real Madrid at two Audi Football Summits and also play against AC Milan. Audi is adding a compact SUV in coupé shape to its model range: the Audi Q3 Sportback. The new model combines the strong presence and versatile everyday convenience of an SUV with the sporty elegance and agile handling of a coupé. This makes it the first compact crossover of the Audi brand.

 

Audi Sport customer racing delivers fascination galore with the Audi R8 LMS GT2 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Oliver Hoffmann, CEO of Audi Sport GmbH, Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Sport customer racing and nine-time Le Mans winner Tom Kristensen together with the Duke of Richmond – the organizer of the Goodwood Festival of Speed – unveiled the new sports car. The expert audience enthusiastically watched the premiere of the sports car with an output of 470 kW (640 hp) – the most powerful one in the eleven-year history of the customer racing program.
